There is a reason the Big Haus received such a direct and affectionate name. The Wilsons had tried naming it something more noble but Language will find its own way. This imposing mansion is an Arts and Crafts home built in 1911 for a flour mill baron, named appropriately Mark Miller. The Wilsons have owned it since 1980 and bought it with the intention of having college students live with them. Something around 300 Christian singles have resided at the Big Haus over the years. |
